Spring Meet Event -- Mingle and Learn

Thank you everyone for the great responses! I wish I could accommodate everyone... but by popular vote I have updated the event to meet on May 24th which is Monday. Hello Photoshop Members!

Welcome to spring, which means I know you're out there taking lots of photos and wondering how your going to edit them. Well your in luck! Its time to gather; ask questions, offer a solution and mingle with your fellow enthusiast.

I will have a special guest (to be announced) along with myself answering and helping you make your way through photoshop with ease.

I will have the projector up and there is Wi-Fi. So I will be doing demos and showing a few small tips here and there. Bring your Laptop if you wish. I hope for this to be a social gathering as much as a Q & A session.

I hope to make this one of our most successful events so far. There will be a sign-in table so please stop there and get your "hello badge"

If you have suggestions, questions or other information please contact me directly. Notice I may be adding information as the venue date nears, so please be on the watch for new updated emails.

We will be meeting at a great restaurant ["Los Panchos" see directions and restaurant info]. The owner will be giving us wonderful service along with a great group discount. There will be a full menu available along with drink specials. This event is "Free" for our meeting. I will have an announcement for cost and discounts and how to pay for meals.

    I apologize for leaving early but circumstances interfered. I found the service rather unobtrusive and quite efficient given the number of us and the circumstances. Most important, it did not interfere with th main reason for the meet up. One suggestion: perhaps questions could be submitted in writing prior to the meeting addressing a specific area of concern and then spending 5 to 10 minutes with answers and suggestions. I came away with a few ideas and some tips which is a good thing.

    Wow Thank you all! for making our meetup such a great success. I hope everybody learned a couple small tricks and had a great time. I'm really grateful to Los Pancho's for accommodating all of us. I think we'll need to move our event to the big room next time as it was a little cramped :) I'm looking forward to feed back so I can make this event even better.

    Enjoyed the Q&A and the good conversations. There was some confusion over orders and at the register on the restaurant side of it. Maybe it was just to many cooks.

    It was nice to meet some of the other group members and Tony gave a good intro talk and Q&A after dinner. It was a little difficult combining dinner with the presentation though since the waiters had to sneak in to get our orders and were hesitant to interrupt. It would probably be better to do just the dinner first, then the presentation... or one without the other. Overall it was a very good event though.
