Holiday Greeting Cards

OK Photoshop fans!
Its a great time to discuss working with your images. Whether you're a seasoned Pro or just starting out, you'll find something to talk about and learn. One goal I strive for, is for this to be a social gathering as much as a Q & A session.

Remember; our discussions, demos, and techniques mainly revolve around CS3. Other versions (older or newer) will have very similar capabilities and the base ideas will be the same... so please don't feel left out if your version is not CS3. The core techniques and steps will be the same.

Its a great opportunity to meet one more this year and why not do it making some Holiday cards for friends and family. There are lots of web sites available to just sign in place your orders and send them that way.... but what fun would that be? when you can use your own images to really personalize your greetings.

Bring a laptop* if you can and be ready to throw out some design ideas or implement new ideas. We'll be discussing creative ideas and basic techniques to enhance your images and be ready for print.

This meetup will be free but donations are always accepted in order to pay for this club.

NOTE*
Wi-Fi is available and a few power outlets will be available. Unfortunately I can not guarantee power outlets for everyone at the time of the meeting, so its on a first come basis. As part of our normal meeting event I will have the projector up and running CS3. I will be doing demos and showing a few small tips here and there.

It was great to see members come out.... I wish there was not so many last minute cancels and no shows. It really hurts the process. The cancels that called though "Thank you" I do understand and I hope all is well. Our group as always had great questions and we all had good answers. See you at the next meetup second week of January.

I enjoyed meeting our new comers Linda and Nick. The food at Los Ponchos is always good. During each meetup I always learn something new. Liked Barrys wifes handmade cards as well. Hope to see everyone at the next meetup.
