2012 ANNOUNCEMENT!

Great news my photoshop fellows, it looks like we are going to be working with Bramkamp Printing at the Graphic Village complex in Blue Ash. We will have access to the meeting room with projector/ screen and 50" LCD monitor. This is very exciting news also because we will have quest speakers talking about general printing, paper and print media and slew of related products.

I will be making further announcements as we refine our partnership with Bramkamp Printing.

Please be aware of some changes. I anticipate the limited space of this location to fill up quickly, so it will be important to RSVP. Once the RSVP has been filled I will have a waiting list,  many times members cant make it for one reason or the other. The waiting list will fill that next available slot when a person changes their RSVP.

I'm currently looking for a food, drink sponsor. The sponsor should have health type snacks, sandwiches (preferably kosher). The drinks should be non-carbonated, healthy, juices, flavored water, etc. Please contact me if you have a contact person.

*NOTE I will be using CS5 for the new year, upgrading from CS3. Like in the past if you are using an older or newer version, the core features and power of photoshop are the same. So don't worry that you're not using the newest version. You will still be able to do lots of great things with your graphics or images.

**NOTE: I have always made this group "free" and have taken on all expenses associated with the group. But for this New year and going forward I'm asking when you attend or register for a meetup that you make a small $5.00 contribution. You can use either Pay-Pal or Amazon payments (you don't need an account with them, to make payments) so far this not a mandatory payment. If something doesn't work as expected please contact me.

Your humble host :)

Thanks for the tip Arthur. The Library's might also be a good location for more central locations. One of the difficult things about selecting a location is finding a place that doesn't make it hard for members coming from greater distances. I have not found a good solution for this ;)

    Humble Host, Organizer
If it where not for the enthusiastic, awesome group of people that come to these meetings, I wouldn't do them. We had an engaging and helpful dialogue about CS5 and previous versions. I do hope everyone who attended found some interesting features and helpful tips for whichever version they are using. See you at the next meeting.

There was a very nice group of people with a lot of participation from everyone. Tony did his usual good job as MC/moderator/cat herder, keeping us focused (mostly) on one subject at a time.

This was my first meet up ever and I thought it was terrific. I found the variety of skill levels and interests (photo vs graphic) in the group very surprising. Everyone was happy to share ideas and Tony was awesome - informative and enthusiastic! Some technical difficulties encountered (missing cords) but it was the first time meeting at that location
