Introduction

2000 - photos I have taken 0 - experience I have with PS. So you see the problem? I am currently scraping by with Elements 7, but I really want to take advantage of all the editing and manipulation of PS to enhance (fix) my photos.

Are you just browsing through or do you plan on participating in some way?

I'd like to take beginner class

What version of Photoshop are you using now?

I have PS, but I am now using Elements 7

What is your level of expertise in Photoshop?

Super novice

What do you use Photoshop for?

Mostly use Elements 7 now, gave up on PS.

What do you hope to learn or to contribute to this group?

Learn: basic functions and use of PS and Elements. Contribute: probably not much at first, but as I learn I would hope to be able to contribute to the team.

  • Ted, We are in the middle of a term. The next one starts the last week of January, I believe. I will double check on that. They will have the on-line registration available in a few weeks. Not the greatest website in the world!

  • No, the book is included in the cost. It is a great deal. No laptop needed. It is taught in a Mac computer lab. Don't let that worry you if you are a PC user. The interface for Photoshop is the exact same. The only real difference is a few key commands which are always both listed in the book. I use the book and additional tutorials to reinforce each lesson. The best way to really learn and remember PS is repetition. Hope to see you there!
