Well, quite a bit actually, but certainly one of the most powerful advantages for Photoshop is the ability to edit your images using Layers. During this tutorial you'll learn the ins-and-outs of layers, adjustment layers, masks and blending modes found in Adobe Photoshop CS3. Examples will include exposure correction, efficient clone-stamp strategies, soft focus portraiture, quick retouch techniques, and a great example of why you should always name your layers! The material will touch on the basics but we'll quickly get into some more advanced techniques that anyone can use once learned. About Ryan R. Dlugosz Ryan is a Cincinnati photographer, blogger and technology guru who loves sharing the tricks he's learned. He became fascinated with photography after seeing a Polaroid pop out of an old Kodak Instant Camera his parents owned and has been using Photoshop since version five. Around that time, the first affordable digital cameras arrived and broke the chains of expensive film processing... Thousands of photographs and dozens of cameras later, Ryan continues to explore the art and sharing of photography.
