OK, I made the jump. I am fluent in Photoshop, but everyone says that Lightroom is a great photo editing software. It seems as though everyone is using it, so I got it. I am using lightroom 2.0 but all I can really figure out how to do is import images. I have to confess that I haven't spent much time messing with it, but does anyone know of a good book or dvd that teaches the basics? Or is there any chance someone is going to organize a meet up with that topic in mind? I would appreciate any help I could get. Thanks! Jason

Jason:
I just went to the lightroom 2 live tour sponsored by Adobe and the NAPP that was held at the NK Convention Center. It was a good program but they crammed alot of information into 8 hrs. I have a seminar workbook that helps alot. Another source of valuable information is at http://tv.adobe.com/#... The videos run anywhere from a few minutes to 30 min or more. If you want a chance to look at the workbook - we could arrange to meet. I work afternoons at Cincinnati Bell from 4pm to midnight. I hope to attend one of the upcoming meets. Dave Martin |

There are a few here proficient in LR so we definitely will be holding "how-to" workshop soon. Stay tuned
