Welcome!
We have lots of new and hopefully exciting things happening in 2010. I'm busy making changes and implementing upgrades and keeping the site running smoothly. Site Information and TOU: Our group is public viewable. We do have a web address that takes you directly to this site and is "Google" searchable. Since I have removed the private status of our group, many sections of this group are available even to non-members. A non-member can email you as well. However I do not believe you’re vulnerable to any specific security risk, anymore than you would on any site that is publicly viewable. Your private information is still secure and no risk exists. I do screen new members for acceptance or denial. If for some reason someone ever contacts you, other than Ben D or me asking for private information or selling you something, please don’t respond to them and let me (your host and organizer) know immediately, so I can take appropriate action. These "Terms Of Use" are posted publicly, so new and current members can refer to them as needed. I may update these terms as needed in order to keep our site running as smoothly as possible and to keep our site accessible for all those who wish to use it as a resource for private use. Part I: the "TOU" agreement and being an approved active member is having a completed profile and image. As we grow and help each other, the profiles should be a source for basic information about you. We don't ask you to post personal information or a photo of you! but the image should be something you have photographed or photoshopped. Your completed profile helps me and others know a little about you and why you are here. The completed profile shows we are serious and dedicated to improving. It also helps eliminate SPAM. Part II: no member or outside source shall contact a current member publicly or privately in order to sell, announce or otherwise lead them to another site for the purpose of soliciting, charging or attempting to sell any product or service. In instances where there is a link to a forum, video, help topic, seminar or other "photoshop" resource there should be no direct competition or effort to lure our members to another site. Most all of our resources are "free" and therefore any site asking you to provide Credit Card information should be avoided. In the instances where our meetup group "CincinnatiPhotoshop.com" asks you to donate, make a payment or sell you a product, you would only be directed to an approved payment partner designed to accept your payment on our behalf. Those sites are regulated and are very secure. Your information is not seen or shared with anyone at "CincinnatiPhotoshop.com" If you feel any of your information has been compromised, please contact me immediately so I can direct you and help you. If you need help, have a concern or a comment please contact me, I’m happy to help. Thank you very much! I'll see you at the next meetup.
